Diamond Danae-Aziza Deshields, better known as Diamond Deshields, is a professional basketball player in the United States. She is a member of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) (WNBA). She was selected for the third time in the 2018 WNBA draft by Chicago Sky and won the 2021 tournament with Sky.
Deshields graduated from Norcross High School in the Georgian city of Norcross. Diamond was a member of three provincial basketball teams and averaged 26 points per game as a senior on the school basketball team. In her first year of college, Deshields enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she used to play as a security guard for the North Carolina women’s netball team Tar Heels.
