‘The Split’ is a British legal drama tv series about the life of The Defoes – a family of female lawyers. Created by Abi Morgan. They all work for their family law firm as divorce lawyers, with the exception of their older sister Hannah and younger daughter. The first one works for a law firm called Noble & Hale, which is a rival of their family law firm and works as a babysitter. However, when their divorced father entered their lives for nearly thirty years, the sisters had to face their backs.

Where Was The Split Series Filmed?
‘The Split’ is recorded in England as a whole, especially in and around London, Surrey, and Kent. The main filming of the launch of the official drama series began in July 2017 and the recording of the second season began in March 2019 and ended in early August 2019. By season 3, the filming began in June 2021 and ended in September of the same year.
With the series based in London, the editing team added a bit of authenticity to the story by choosing to record a large part of the series in the capital.

Most of ‘The Split’ is lensed in the London suburbs, an area that includes London and surrounding passenger areas. The scenes involving the law firm Noble & Hale were filmed in the former office of an international law firm named Olswang. The building is located on High Holborn Street in Central London. In addition, the place where Hannah had lunch with her colleagues on a park bench was recorded at Red Lion Square in Holborn.

The house of real life on Macaulay Road in the Lambeth river bank represents Hannah’s house while the house on Sydenham Hill in the London Borough of Lewisham doubles as her family house where she grew up. By recording some important internal scenes, Kingston-upon-Thames Crown Court at 6-8 Penrhyn Road in Kingston upon Thames season 3, Capitan Corelli at 132 Battersea Park Road, Surrey County Hall at 11 Woodhatch Road in Cockshot Hill in Reigate season 1, and The Kings Head pub 2 Crouch End Hill is in use. For the filming, the cast and crew even traveled to Kent, a southeastern state of England. In particular, they use the resources of The Maidstone Studios, formerly known as the TVS Television Center. Located in Vinters Business Park on New Cut Road, the studio is considered the largest independent TV broadcasting center in the United Kingdom and has a 12,000-square-foot studio and a 6,000-square-foot studio.
