‘Signora Volpe’ is a series of detective dramas surrounding a disgraced British spy named Sylvia Fox. She travels to Italy to attend her niece’s wedding and as a result, begins a new life in the heart of the country. However, things go south when her niece’s son-in-law disappears, making her realize that trouble is always coming to her.
After solving this mystery, Sylvia hopes to rekindle her relationship with her sister and start a new life. In a bid to settle some cases, she even caught the eye of a local police officer while her ex-husband tried to turn her away. With the appearance of the countryside and the city featured in the series, viewers will definitely be curious about the locations on the screen. The ‘Signora Volpe’ was recorded in Italy, mainly in the regions of Lazio and Umbria. Since the series was set up in Italy, the production team decided to use a different country location and add more authenticity to the story.

A team of producers set up camp in the Lazio region to record several outstanding series sequences. In the first stages of production in May 2021, actors and workers were seen shooting certain scenes in the capital, Lazio – Rome. It seems that several cities across the region serve as the backbone of the drama series.

In a conversation in April 2022, Jamie Bamber (Adam Haines) had a few words to say about the recording in Rome. The prospect of filming in this beautiful city is one of the main reasons for Jamie’s acceptance of Adam’s place. He revealed that he had never been to Rome without tourists before, so he was very knowledgeable while recording. Seeing Trevi Fountain empty at 10 a.m. has been one of the highlights.

Outside of Rome, the organizing team headed for Bracciano, a small town some 20 miles [30 km] northwest of Rome. A few important scenes have been shot at the famous volcanic lake – Lago di Bracciano – the eighth largest lake in all of Italy.

To record parts of the first season of Signora Volpe, a team of producers visited Umbria, a region in central Italy. Of all the cities and valleys present in the exhibition, the most prominent is the Panicale. The municipality is located in the Perugia Province of Umbria, which includes a number of subdivisions.
