“One Tree Hill.”Almost every recording of the show took place in and around Wilmington, a major port city in North Carolina. In addition to its beaches and cultural diversity, the city is known as the production center for ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and ‘Cape Fear.’ The production center in the city center was EUE / Screen Gems Studios. As a filmmaking base located at 1223 North 23rd Street in Wilmington, the studio had more than 400 production titles.

The cast and crew found the 7th and 8th stages, which were located in the middle of Brooke’s house. Outdoor scenes are carved outside the residence located at 2314 Tattersalls Drive. Emsley A. Laney High School, a public school, located at 2700 North College Road in Wilmington, has borrowed its own photography space for an important sequence episode. The school doubles as Tree Hill High in the series. Additional school scenes were recorded at Eugene Ashley High School, another high school located at 555 Halyburton Memorial Parkway in the city.
Workers also took photographs at Bellevue Cemetery, a quiet public cemetery on Princess Place Drive in Wilmington. Several tracks were taken from Independence Mall (also known as Westfield Independence Mall), a large shopping mall at 3500 Oleander Drive. While in town, the production unit also filmed scenes at the Johnnie Mercers Fishing Pier, a fishing village located at 23 East Salisbury Street, in the community of Wrightsville Beach, about four miles east of Wilmington. Other staff beaches they have visited include Carolina Beach and Kure Beach.

“Rivercourt” is also a complete myth, and scenes were filmed in the USS Battleship Park. As an important public park located at 1 Battleship Road in Wilmington, a piece of green is a valuable asset to the community. Another location at 1829 Wrightsville Avenue in Wilmington provided the back of the Home for Karen and Lucas Scott in the series. A store that looked like Karen’s Cafe & Clothes Over Bros was a small shop on the corner of Grace Street and North Front Street.
Trick & Red Bedroom Records was located at 1121 South Front Street. The scene featured in the exhibition as Haley’s Childhood Home is also located in the city, at 1811 Chestnut Street. The Valley Table, where Haley’s relationship with Nathan flourishes, is located on a riverbank. Scott’s House scenes were lensed in the living room at 1621 Country Club Road.

Dixie Grill, where Sam cools off with Jack Daniels, is a real city restaurant located at 116 Market Street. The visible bridge at the opening of the credit is the 6th Street Bridge, at the intersection of North 6th Street & Hanover Street. Peyton Saywer’s Home also appears to be in town.
