Virgin Voyages aims to disrupt the tourism industry when it launched the Scarlet Lady, its first adult-only ship, last year. Now Richard Branson’s cruise line begins to offer the following: The Valiant Lady.
The 278-meter-long vessel can carry 2,770 passengers and carries standard navigation facilities – such as a swimming pool – in addition to its 17 decks, as well as less unusual offerings – such as a tattoo parlor.
Nirmal Saverimuttu, president of Virgin Voyages, tells how to sail in the hope that the Valiant Lady will be part of a summer trip as the epidemic limits gradually diminish.
“There is a great need for navigation,” he said, adding that a positive response to the Scarlet Lady reassured the Virgin that her ship would be a success.

On the morning of March 11, the Valiant Lady left Essex in southeastern England for London, where she stopped at the London International Cruise Terminal for the festivities. Later, she will start a UK ship before heading to Barcelona. The stint in Australia is also on the cards.
Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady are very similar, with their bright interior, boutique-hotel vibe, and many restaurants. The only real difference is their different journeys.
The Virgin Voyages demands that their ships feel distinctly different from ordinary ships. For Captain Marco Carsjens, that was part of a call to join the cruise line.
The Helming Valiant Lady is “delighted,” said the captain, who has been in the profession for more than 25 years.
“I come from a traditionally designed ship, but Virgin Voyages is very different and actually comes out to the inside in comparison,” Carsjens tells. “I’m interested in design, so the kind that people who have never worked in shipbuilding before was attractive and very effective.”
Outside of his headquarters on the bridge, the Carsjens calling it “the best view of the house,” the captain said The Dock’s favorite boarding pass, indoor/outdoor restaurant with sun lounges and sea views.
“The way the place meets from the inside to the outside and has a superyacht feel, I love it,” he says.
Much is being done about the cruise line that attracts people who have never sailed before the launch of Virgin Voyages.

Tom McAlpin, CEO of Virgin Voyages, told in September 2021 that Virgin Voyages was not “your grandmother’s boat trip.”
No need to dress up for dinner. There is a drawing area mentioned above. There are pop-up entertainment events. There are more restaurants than one large restaurant with a buffet.
However, Saverimuttu is determined to emphasize that Virgin Voyages aims to attract a veteran boat sailor as a newborn. She added that the cruise line is aimed at catering to people of all ages.
Emma Le Teace, a British travel blogger who runs the blog Emma Cruises, visited the Scarlet Lady last summer.
“Before my Virgin Voyages tour, I had heard a lot about how different the cruise line was. Virgin had directed a new cruise market and this left me wondering if the existing passengers would like the product.
“Of course, Virgin has things that make them different from other cruise lines like WiFi installed and cold drinks but I found the fun with the ship exactly what I found on other travel lines.”
Le Teace says that, as with all travel guides, there are some things he likes and dislikes. In her review of the blog, she praised the fact that employees were allowed to dress casually, as well as good food options while noting that she was not so sure about the small pool.

All in all Le Teace tells that she is impressed with the way Virgin seems to be listening to customer feedback.
She wasn’t sure about a double bed as a sofa, but as he climbed she enjoyed learning that the bed was being turned into a sofa on request. And it was “very relaxed.”
“I feel like Virgin listened very carefully to the feedback their clients gave them and I expect them to do well in the future,” she said.
