The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 8 begins with the Pope sending one of his men to divert the wanderers from Meridian. While in hiding, Daryl is also able to sneak into Father Gabriel and Maggie after killing Reaper.
After Maggie manages to locate the truck and drive it inside the Meridian, a pedestrian attack occurs. As a result of a severe storm in Alexandria, lightning strikes a windmill, and a significant part of the wall is damaged.
Elsewhere, as Pope prepares to release the clock, Daryl waits for the right moment to pull out his knives and to prevent him from doing so. However, it was Leah who made the murderous blow that shocked everyone! To Daryl’s dismay, he decides to stay and blames him for killing Pope.
