Recap: The Voice Season 21 Episode 4
In The Voice Season 21 Episode 4, Ariana applied her block to John, and after a few seconds, Holly quickly selected Team Kelly! While it was starting to work, Bella DeNapoli took to the stage and performed a constructive play in “Damaged,” which ended on a powerful note, forcing Ariana, John, and Kelly to hit their buttons at the same time. Bella decided to train at Team Ariana because of the similarity of their words.
Next up was David Vogel who sang his own unique version of Ariana’s song “Breathin,” which gave him a place in his band. Janora Brown’s heavenly translation of “Angel of Mine” impressed all panel judges, but John eventually accepted her into his family. Kaitlyn Velez’s online sensation “Please Don’t Go” turned John and Blake into their seats, even though he was free to join the latest group. Guitarist Berritt Haynes and actor Clint Sherman have both been included in Blake’s band with an automatic seat rotation.
While it is Kayla Lilly’s turn to impress the judges, there is not a single seat left, unfortunately. The next act, called The Cunningham Sisters, sang the song “Never Alone,” which eventually moved Kelly and John to repentance. After some thought, the sisters approached Team Kelly, much to the consternation of John’s skill in harmonizing his voice.
