The Righteous Gemstones Season 2 Episode 8: Recap
The Righteous Gemstones Season 2 Episode 8 began in 1993 when we saw Junior trying to convince his father Glendon to let him run a business as his methods were no longer working.
Although Glendon listened to Junior and allowed him to make a deal and earn a lot of money, he eventually took all the money and left Junior hanging alone. In the meantime, we have seen Eli deeply appreciate Gideon, Judy, and Kelvin in all they did to help him. While Amber tries to get Eli to inform Jesse in the same way as he was the decision-maker.
After a while, Amber became very angry because Eli did not know what he and Jesse had done for her and her family. But Jesse told her to cool it down and give her time. Later, we saw Judy take Tiffany off the bus as she was on her way to Virginia and tell her to stay with her as a family no matter what.
Baby Billy, on the other hand, kept her courage and went to see her son Harmon and apologized to him for throwing him away. In addition, he asked Harmon to do whatever he felt was necessary in order to clear up the smoke and forgive him. So Harmon slapped him in the face and finally corrected him as well. Continuing Kelvin also got up and went straight to the muscle boys in his house and took them back to them.
Meanwhile, in preparation for the Sunday church, Eli told Jesse that he believed in him and was ready to help him build the hotel of his dreams. In addition, he also told the truth about Grandpa Roy who killed Glendon and showed them where to bury his body. Although, Jesse, Kelvin, and Judy realized that he was protecting Grandpa Roy and doing what was right. Eli finally asked them to treat each other well if they wanted him to never tell Junior the truth.
So they did exactly what he had asked them to do, and they began to treat each other better. However, Eli approached Junior and told him the truth. But Junior took it easy and asked Eli to get the money Glendon ran away with. Although, to his surprise, Eli found out that it was not Junior who had sent the gang of cyclists to kill him. Finally, we saw an explosion in prison, and the cyclists fled with the rest of the cyclists.
