The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 5: Recap
The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 5 shows things going deeper for most FBI agents. At the forefront of this episode is a mystery about the most advanced military weapon technology. However, on the brink of all confusion are the personal conflicts that agents are struggling with.
The episode begins with an unidentified man driving a car. Suddenly the man begins to shake his head in agony. It was as if something invisible was piercing his brain. This sudden and unexplained attack leads to a car accident in which the person is killed.
However, the cause of his death does not appear to be an accident. The trigger behind his headache earlier also seems to have been the cause of his death. Then we cut Dembe to go meet Red. The latter tells him about a dangerous weapon that disables people by emitting extremely high-intensity energy waves that can travel over walls, floors, and ceilings. Dembe goes to the task force and tells them about the weapon. He also spoke about the chief engineer responsible for weapons technical operations.
The task force estimates that Chief Engineer Benjamin T. Okara stole the weapon. Five other engineers who are now on the engineering team were hunted down. Efforts were launched to rescue these engineers from Okara. Unfortunately, Park and the wrestler arrived early and failed to rescue the engineer. Okara was able to **** the engineer before the task force arrived.
Fortunately, the task force finds another engineer before Okara arrives. Dembe and Park set out to rescue him, but as they approached him, he went mad. Hitting the park on his head, the engineer runs for it, succumbing to the onslaught of Okara’s energy waves.
