Apple TV + got its big audience with a real series or film for the first season of Ted Lasso Season 2.

Ted Lasso Season 2

Depending on the variety, Ted Lasso Season 2 premiere has set a broadcaster record when it comes to active accounts watching Jason Sudeikis as a football coach. Viewers begin the premiere of this episode on July 23, with its opening weekend until July 25. If you’re waiting to hear how many subscribers are watching the premiere, you’re out of luck. Apple TV + did not release the numbers and did not provide details about the total number of subscribers.

However, Apple TV + shared that Ted Lasso “increased its coverage by 6x in the first season,” and the service reportedly receives 50% new viewers each week, which is a record. Apple also said that Ted Lasso Season 2 will “raise the bargain and engagement” of its new season, as well as bring more viewers to other comedy shows like Schmigadoon, Physical and Mythic Quest on the weekend of July 23-25.

Jason Sudeikis plays the role of Ted Lasso, a junior college football coach hired to lead an English soccer team. Despite his inexperience, Lasso managed to win the team with enthusiasm and with his winning style.

Ted Lasso Season 2 now airs on Apple TV +, with new episodes starting airing every Friday.
