Severance Season 1 Episode 2: Recap
Severance Season 1 Episode 2 saw Helly trying to escape the Lumon workplace repeatedly. However, all his efforts continue to fail. Lumon prevented Helly from crossing the border all the time. Meanwhile, Irving and Dylan say what their job really is. Nothing seems to convince Helly, who continues to escape separation.
Petey continues to warn Mark about the company as he struggles with his relapsing illness. He keeps coughing up blood, and it doesn’t look like Petey will have a good ending to his arc.
Although Helly has started with something and wants to break free from this mysterious and terrifying domain, Mark seems to be content, almost or less. His suffering abroad must be great enough to convince him of the absurdity of office.
The episode concludes with another attempt by Kelly to resign. However, before he could do so, the officer caught up with him and sent him to the living room. Mark ends up blocking her in the room, though. However, what lies in the living room remains a mystery.
