Sanditon Season 3 Plot
In the second season, Charlotte returns to Sanditon with her sister Alison when news of Sydney’s death spreads in Antigua. She focuses on her new job with Leonora, the daughter of widow Alexander Coleborn and niece Augusta. Although she decides to stay away from the men, she catches the attention of her boss and Colonel Lennox, who arrives at camp at Sanditon with his troops.
Elsewhere, sparks fly between Georgiana and Charles Lockhart, an artist who came to town for a museum. Meanwhile, Allison is fascinated by the handsome Captain Carter, not knowing that he is the man he claims to be. On the other hand, her senior captain Fraser also fights for her affection and secretly helps her seduce him.
Edward Denham returns to town as a soldier and plays a man who turns to his aunt and Esther, who are struggling with fertility issues. Things get more complicated when Clara is pregnant with her baby. Therefore, Edward badly conspired with Clara to inherit Lady Denham by proving that Esther was not insane. But when Esther helps Clara with childbirth and the care of her newborn son, the latter changes his mind and reveals Edward’s inferiority to all.
As the season draws to a close, Charlotte learns how Colonel Lennox has wronged Alexander in the past and chooses to stay with him after that. However, he breaks her heart by rejecting her for fear that he will hurt her. Alison pushes Captain Carter away for his lies and discovers his love for Captain Fraser.
Also, the shocked Georgiana learns that the man who sued her for her inheritance was Charles and that her mother was alive. Eventually, Tom Colonel was able to overtake Lennox and the army left Sanditon. Two months later, Charlotte announced her engagement to Ralph and Alexander left for London.
Sanditon Season 3 extends far beyond the shocking end of the advanced round. It can focus specifically on Charlotte and Alexander getting back at each other when they betrayed each other. It may also explore Esther’s new responsibilities as George’s guardian and the Parker family’s efforts to find her mother in Georgia. In the end, Edward may be plotting to reclaim his aunt’s property, so it’s interesting to see how she deals with it. Other than that, expect to see more interesting storylines when the show returns.
