The Russian movie “Row 19” is a terrifying combination of horror and tragic genres, but it is finally able to deliver the worst of both worlds. The movie is about the confusing story of a doctor and his six-year-old daughter flying in a plane. The film’s plot, storytelling, and craftsmanship are as fragile as an old airplane, and the experience is disappointing, and easily forgotten.

Row 19: Movie Synopsis
The Row 19 movie begins with a middle-aged woman traveling with her young daughter, Katya, on a plane during the stormy weather outside. Amid the chaos and chaos inside the plane, Katya wakes up and finds himself alone. Hearing some whispers and rumblings in the back seat, turned to see the old woman saying unfamiliar words, and when she opened her eyes she looked completely white without the baby.
As the plane crashes into the air, Katya, who is covered with blood and is alive, appears to be walking in the woods after surviving an accident in some way, until the film progresses over time. According to newspaper headlines, it has been discovered that 20 years have passed since the accident, and now one day, a team of journalists is approaching Katya, now middle-aged, to inquire about her past experiences.
Katya, who is accompanied by her six-year-old daughter, Diana, tries to avoid talking directly about the horrific event of her past and says she just tries not to remember it. Diana unknowingly helps her mother by taking the conversation in a different way, as in childhood she talks about Katya’s strong will to fight her fears.
As it becomes clear to the audience that something bad could happen to the plane crash, Diana points out that her mother is no longer afraid to fly. In fact, they were about to take a plane to visit Diana’s grandfather the next day. Journalists present their interviews and program as one of the most important human endeavors to overcome human fears, and the mother and daughter appeared to board their plane the next night.
The night weather is, again and again, deceptive, with heavy snow and frequent snowfall. However, this is only the beginning of Katya’s problems as she is slowly dragged through the night of bizarre incidents amid a seemingly dangerous situation two decades ago.
Row 19 Ending Explained: What Happened At The End?
In the last few minutes of the film’s performance, the story is completely about what actually happened to Katya two decades ago, and how she managed to survive a plane crash. As she sees the paintings of Pavel walking towards the door of the staff room, she realizes that the door is somehow a way out of this strange evil. Holding Diana close to her, Katya runs into it, and they both enter a cupboard that looks the same, with a staff room door that looks the same at the end.
They run into it and sit in the same place as if trapped in a loop. Finally, at one point, the closet now looks different and new, and Diana gets lost. As Katya sees her daughter, she also sees a black ghost come running out to her. The shrill voice of an old woman, or witch, comes back and tells Katya that whatever we were watching is not real, but rather Katya’s dream. In fact, she is a six-year-old girl sitting on a crashed plane.
It is the witch who makes the plane crash with her spell and protects young Katya from the fear of putting her to sleep. However, she says Katya is a very special girl as she keeps waking up. Everything presented after this is from twenty years ago, as the passengers on that flight that night were exactly the same as the current ones.
Little Katya finds her mother, but the latter dies suddenly and sits in the 19th seat as if she knew she needed to be there to survive. The plane crashes, and breaks and splits, without the last line, number 19, which remains constant and safe and sound. Young Katya opens her eyes, and the film darkens.
A witch’s voice had said that Katya the elderly and her daughter Diana were not really there, but they were part of Katya’s 6-year-old thoughts of her life when she survived the accident. She then said that from now on, her future is in her hands, and the ending of the film suggests that she survived the accident.
Whether Katya actually survived the aftermath, as she was, able to survive alone in the jungle in Novosibirsk, is unknown, as there is actually no clear line between what is real and what the little girl thought. The ending of the film tries to present its final twist in a very surprising way, but nothing works. There is almost a sense of compulsion for a long story to have such an end, and overall, “Row 19” is a bad and dirty clock.
