Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 1 Episode 5: Recap
In Raising Kanan Season 1 Episode 5 ‘Choose Your Battles,’ Raq wants Canaan out of business while Marvin is worried about someone who should be talking about the stash city scene. Khanan has no idea of Raq’s secret plan of a different make-up. Raq, Marvin, and Lou-Lou started arguing after Lou-Lou confronted Marvin for being a failure, and Marvin mocked Lou-Lou for being Raq’s supporter.
Raq wants to connect the apartments of this new stash city, explaining that if things get tough for the police, they can hide the garbage in the apartment below. Detectives Howard and Burke followed Raq and Canaan into the bodega. Canaan fights Scrappy nearby, and Howard unleashes it before dragging them to the spot. Despite his best efforts, Howard is unable to communicate with Canaan. Lou-Lou pays for Crown’s recording studio and wants his nephew, Jukebox, included in Famous’s song.
The Jukebox then had a disagreement with Christie’s mother, who caught them doing it. Canaan pleads with his mother to teach him to make a split. Although he hesitates at first, he eventually gives up. Scrappy is going to meet Unique behind his bail. His sour experience with Raq makes him look for opportunities to get into Unique’s staff instead. Howard confronts Raq with a truth he has just discovered. Khan is his son.
