JoJo Siwa Says Nickelodeon Only Treats Her As ‘A Brand’
JoJo Siwa’s 30-season Dancing With The Stars competition says Nickelodeon only sees him as a “product” despite working with the network throughout his childhood. The 18-year-old Ubuntu began her career at Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition in 2013. Since then, she has been a brilliant enthusiast, appeared in Dance Moms, and started a successful YouTube channel with a masterpiece of music art. The young star is now preparing for his upcoming DREA.A.M. tour with his new live music film The Team for J, all of which are still being trained for DWTS this season.
After emerging as part of the LGBTQ + community on social media earlier this year, JoJo Siwa made history by Dancing With The Stars as the first competition in 30 days to have a same-sex partner. Although 15 athletes competing in the Mirrorball Trophy have been announced, their dance skills have been threatened.
That means, before JoJo Siwa’s first practice, he admitted he hoped to dance with Jenna Johnson, Britt Stewart, or Lindsay Arnold. JoJo Siwa went on to tell his fans that he is actually scared to face judges Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Len Goodman because they all know his dance history. JoJo knows that he will not hide his professional skills but hopes that the judges do not look at his background as a reason for harsh criticism.
While JoJo Siwa was training for his first appearance at Dancing With The Stars next week, he was simultaneously preparing for his trip starting next January. In a new set of burning tweets, JoJo Siwa admits there is a problem in paradise with Nickelodeon, as the network limits his creative freedom.
“My movie music has just been released (it has 6 new original songs) … Nickelodeon told me today that I am not allowed to sing/add any songs from the film to my program. These are MY songs, MY voice, MY writing. Does this seem right? ?? “JoJo went on to explain his point, saying there was no reason why Nickelodeon should stop him from making the music fans want to hear. “Working for a company as a real person who is only treated as a brand is fun until it’s not.”
Although Nickelodeon has yet to say anything about JoJo’s demanding demands, this is not the first time Dance Moms alum has publicly announced power reserves for their crimes. Back in June, he tried to find a release from the upcoming Bounce movie that required him to kiss a male character. Jojo has described his thinking as dating a person who is in real life and does not want to jeopardize that relationship by kissing someone, especially a man, even if it is for a certain role.
By the time they compiled their tour list, it looked like the star was still happy with the music film released by Nickelodeon Movies.
Or to see the energy bills full of debt and to take advantage of celebrity work is disappointing, it is a very serious problem in the music industry. Stars like Taylor Swift have come a long way in the public eye to show how money and power can be hurt when a top manager takes everything they feed, love, and work for. His frustration will not affect his time at Dancing With The Stars, but fans are curious as to whether Nickelodeon will respond or whether they will allow him to sing with the original music during his weekly performances.
