Miko Okkonen teamed up with Auntie Pessonen to write the screenplay for the movie. The series received rave reviews and critical acclaim from fans at home and abroad – more than a million people tuned in to watch its first episode.

The cast of the original show, including Ville Vertenen, and Anu Sinisa, reprised their roles in the movie’s sequel. The sequel drives the story forward, adding another feather to the cap of a skilled detective. The whole story is fictional, including the serial killer Lassey Masalo.

There is only one criminal who fits the FBI profile of the serial killer. There are four victims known to the killer as Jukka Lindholm. However, there is a risk of new offenses as the state government has repeatedly released them on parole in the past. The attitude of the state judiciary has alarmed citizens, who have launched an initiative to get Lind‌home’s sentence back.

The character of Curry Srjonan is the driving force behind the play. An overworked autistic, even a sharp sleeve can show signs of Sawant Syndrome. Also known as savantism, it is a rare condition in which a person exceeds one’s ability at the expense of a neurodevelopmental disorder.

The detective character was especially inspired by the British novelist, translator, poet, and scholar Daniel Tomat. His 2006 memoir, ‘Born on a Blue Day’, earned him the Sunday Times’ Top Choice of Books Award.

Some elements of Detective Curry Srzonen, including his operational approach and witty personality, are taken from classic detective stories such as Sherlock Holmes. Detective Finland is known as Sherlock’s, and Khari uses his Mind-Palace memories to revisit and deal with crime as a London detective.
