‘GottaHaveIt’ begins with young Joanna Gold, who is being treated for leukemia at the hospital. During her stay, she finds great sympathy for her condition, which she often uses to her advantage so that her needs can be met by adults. Secretly, the fascinated little girl hopes to become a TV presenter and meet Jackie one day.
Years pass and Joanna recovers from leukemia successfully, but the immediate stigma attached to her former condition follows her everywhere. She also gets frustrated when she sees her former classmates living their dreams while his love ends due to a lack of knowledge. Tired of being a lonely adult living with her overprotective parents, Joanna decides to take a break from faith and the SVN test, a dream she has had since her childhood.
Despite not having a talented agent, Joanna somehow manages to get into the exam and performs poorly but honestly when asked to sell a pencil as her job. However, when she does not receive a call within a few days, she begins to feel hopeless and quarrelsome with her parents. Fortunately, SVN finally chooses her, and with that, Joanna leaves home to pursue her true calling to be a respected host on the air.
On her first day, she got to know some of her colleagues, Beth Ann, Darcy, Perry, and Beena. Unfortunately, Joanna fails to please her strong boss Patricia and ends up overjoyed and shocked when she asks him to talk about her sales quality.
Dissatisfied with her performance, Patricia takes her to a less important place in the station. Although slightly disappointed, Joanna finds a new supporter in Jordan, a member of the group at SVN, and sparks fly quickly among them. Not only that, she is over a month when Patricia appoints her lifelong idol Jackie as her mentor.
As Jackie splits hard, she hesitates to train Joanna, but seeing the woman’s praise for her, she agrees and becomes her friend.
