“Heart Parade 2022,” a romantic comedy movie produced by Netflix, is an attempt to tell a heartwarming story about fighting the fear of a person who fails to bring much in front of emotions. Young TV presenter Magda moves from her busy, fast-paced Warsaw life to Krakow relaxed and slow-moving as part of her career, and stumbles in love. Despite its best efforts, the “Heart Parade” is unsatisfactory and seems to lack the beauty of love.
Heart Parade: Synopsis
When Magda arrived at the designated apartment in Krakow, she was shocked to see that the family living in the apartment had their own dog. The family includes a single middle-aged father, Krzysztof, his son Karol, and their dachshund dog, Trombone. Despite being an artist and sculptor, Krzysztof currently works in the cemetery with his best friend Wiktor and decides to remain single after the death of his wife, much to the dismay of his neighbor, Irenka, who is clearly interested in him.
Magda arrives in the middle of such a scene, and it turns out that Carol had posted the list online because she felt that her father was sometimes very lonely and needed to have a girlfriend. Feeling nervous and uncomfortable around the dog, Magda is still serious about her job and finds out that Krzysztof and his friends are all involved in organizing a dog show. Seeing this as her best opportunity to record videos, she promised to help and was welcomed to the informal committee.
Over the next few days, she walks around the city administration offices to collect all the necessary documents and permits needed to run the event in a public place. Used for speed, efficiency, and official operating procedures in Warsaw, Magda was amazed at the attitude of the Krakow workers more relaxed, carefree, and indifferent. Here the taxi drivers took their leave seriously, rejecting even the buyers at this time; management officials take their time to start work, lazily reading newspapers or putting nail polish on their fingers, but are always kind enough to offer tea.
Gradually, Magda formed a friendship with Carol and helped the child to avoid bullying at school. Carol also confides in her favorite schoolgirl, Tosia, and Magda agrees to play a role in helping her out. She needs to get closer to Trombone, as she has to move him and look after him when she is alone in the house, but Magda’s first moment of love for the dog is probably when she should help him out. she is sick.
Despite great fear and hesitation to approach, are both too shy to talk about it. Irenka gets advice for this kind of possible love and also finds out what Magda is actually doing, and the jealous woman is now trying to undermine Magda’s position in Krakow.
During all this time, Magda has secretly been filming videos and photographs of various subtleties that could be used to make a TV presentation against the dog show — shoplifting incidents, organizers’ disputes, mistreatment during the days leading up to it. the event, and so on. However, she also appears to be taking videos of moments that can be considered heartwarming, showing the love people and their dogs share in it and the environment.
As previously reported by Ola that Zula had forgiven her and was now waiting for the video she had collected, Magda had stored all the videos on her laptop. One day, as Krzysztof is about to express his romantic interest in Magda, her ex-boyfriend, David, arrives at the scene, wanting to reunite with her. Yes, Magda rejects all his requests and asks him to leave immediately, but David is caught by Irenka as he leaves. Realizing that this is her chance to get rid of Magda, Irenka helps Dawid break into an empty house and steal all the videos from Magda’s laptop.
He then returned to Warsaw and hosted a TV program with all the videos, making the Dachshund Parade look like a comedy event organized by amateurs without considering the effect it has on dogs. Krzysztof and his friends are understandably upset by such a presentation and realizing that it was all Magda’s fault, Krzysztof kicked her out of his house.
As the woman returns to Warsaw with grief, she e-mails the man explaining that it was not her intention to make the program that way and sends videos showing how she really wanted the program to be — and the happy times of Trombone, Carol, no. some do not plan with their favorite dogs. Although Krzysztof does not respond to her messages, Magda returns to her office and attends an important meeting.
Here Zula compliments her on the photos she has collected and all her work in the program and also dismisses David since she was well aware that the man had stolen videos of Magda who worked only hard.
At the same time, the Dachshund Parade had begun in Krakow, and Karol, who was supposed to sing with Trombone, feared public humiliation. Wiktor tries to encourage the boy, but when nothing else works, he calls Magda, informs her of the situation, and asks her to come immediately to Krakow, because she is the only one who can help Karol and Trombone.
Magda hears all this on the phone as Zula keeps calling her to return to the important meeting. In the dilemma between pursuing her career or her love, Magda now has to decide which way to go.
Heart Parade Ending Explained: What Happened At The End?
As has become clear from the predictable narrative of ‘Heart Parade,’ Magda chooses her new love instead of her prestigious career and tells Zula that she wants to quit her job. She immediately called Anatol for help, and a friend took him to Krakow on his bike. As the dog show nears its end, Karol’s career is approaching.
Wiktor is able to buy more time by singing on stage, and this time, Magda arrives. Karol and Trombone take to the stage, and the little boy has no control over the dog’s actions, and the crowd erupts in laughter. As Magda overcomes the fear of dogs and walks through a crowded area, she walks to the side of the stage to help Carol with the instructions she should give Trombone. With this boost of confidence, Karol effectively leads Trombone through one strategy after another, and the crowd now erupts with applause and praise.
Tosia, who was in the crowd, asks Karol about the day, and Wiktor seems to have found a romantic interest in Anatol. Finally, Magda goes to Krzysztof and apologizes for her past actions, saying how her life changed completely after she arrived in Krakow and met him and his friends. The two eventually reunited, as Krzysztof asks Magda to accompany him and Karol on a weekend trip, and possibly many more weekends in the future.
Very little in the depths of the plot or characters, Magda seemed to be a character destined to fall in love and find a new family. “Heart Parade” brings nothing new to the often forgotten Netflix rom-com collection, and it can ultimately be a disappointment for enthusiastic fans of this genre.
