A home video shows a young child greeting a very special guest at his birthday party: Michael Myers, a deadly Halloween official.
The video was shared by Twitter user @vxmpyra with captions saying, “My daughter is in love with Michael Myers lmao. She arrived at her birthday party, heard a Halloween theme song, and started looking for him.” Seeing John Carpenter’s famous point-and-shoot game as the girl watches her hero to the end, Michael sticks his head out from behind the building and the girl runs to hug him and tells him she loves him.
Michael Myers, who was arrested with a scandal, first appeared on Halloween in 1978, during which he walked through the towns of Haddonfield in an attempt to assassinate a young nanny Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). Michael went on to appear in six Halloween sequels, two re-enactment movies, and two additional sequels/reboots. Her latest look will be on the upcoming Halloween Kills.
This is not the first time Michael has been seen in the wild. A few weeks ago, attorney Mark Metzger was dressed as a photographer and walked along the beaches of Galveston, TX, before Hurricane Nicholas arrived. Metzger said his intention was to create loneliness in the midst of a natural disaster, but he admitted that some people may not have found the joke.
“I don’t think they value that much,” he said after being arrested by Galveston police. “I think there are some people out there who don’t have a joke or, you know, they won’t make everyone happy.”
