The CIA is hot on their way, and Mal’akh has warned Langdon of bad consequences if Katherine continues to be with him. With nowhere else to go, they could turn to Nunez for help. Meanwhile, Sato will investigate Bellamy and try to read all that Langdon found about his mysterious kidnapper kidnapping. His superiors at the agency may threaten to remove him from the case if he does not make significant progress. Flashback scenes can show colleagues in Zachary’s cell working with a prison warden.

Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol Season 1 Episode 2, Langdon and Katherine find a page from the Old Testament inside an envelope. Bellamy, the Capitol Builder, is helping them escape from the CIA. Langdon and Katherine learn that Peter is part of a secret group within Freemasonry called the Leviathan Group. Its members believe that ancient wisdom should be kept secret until humanity is ready. Katherine reassures Bellamy to help them, and she and Langdon think that Peter’s ring could be used to decipher the coded message on the page of the Old Testament.

With the help of Nunez, they found a ring in the Capitol Police’s testimony room. Meanwhile, Sato finds out that the CIA has been watching Peter for a long time. Mal’akh and his colleagues meet, and the first assure the latter that Peter is not going anywhere. Sato and his team find out that Langdon and Katherine are hiding with Bellamy, but the two scholars run away before reaching them. This episode concludes with the revelation that Peter may be in a coma caused by a clinic.
