South Africa is just a few days away from celebrating 28 years of Independence Day, but the country is still struggling to stand on its own two feet. The young boys had found an easy way to earn a living by doing menial work for local gang leaders, and those who were trying to make a living honestly began to feel that the government was improperly responding to their share of profits from illegal immigrants. the whole city as a plague. Johan Greser, a wealthy white man, was about to be promoted to office.
He was in charge of everything, and he knew that the board members would make him the next CFO of the Elevate Security Company. Diane Greser, his wife, was trying to cope with her rebellious daughter, Nicki, to the best of her ability, but she still could not control her temper. Nicki’s attitude got worse every day, and she considered her parents to be inferior to her enemies, who just wanted to deprive her of freedom and make her do what they wanted.
Johan always blamed Diane for not looking at her, while Diane felt helpless as Nicki turned into this brave boy who disobeyed anything and everything her parents said. She strongly disagreed with the views of black people and had once dated a young man named Cecil, who still wanted to sing. Thando was a good friend of Cecil’s, but unlike the latter, he did not shy away from making money in order to make money quickly.
Bra Sol, a local criminal, owned a club, in addition to several illegal businesses that he owned. Sol was involved in human trafficking and had contacts with the highest officials in the system, who often bribed him to remove all administrative and legal barriers. Mr. Dinoko owned a regular shop in the area, and he saw Nigerians and other refugees as a threat to his life.
But his daughter Palesa knew that it would be wrong to consider all refugees illegal immigrants. Corruption had broken the backbone of the capital, and due to growing tensions between local and refugee communities, things in Johannesburg did not look bright and shiny.
Collision Ending Explained: Nicki Is Alive or Dead?
Bra Sol met with councilors and the city mayor. The mayor had requested a large sum to allow Bra Sol to continue his illegal business and continue the construction of his school. Sol used to sell a lot of girls but still found it difficult to make money. That’s where he got the idea. He decided to kidnap Nicki and tricked Johan and Diane into extorting money. He knew that Thando was close to Cecil and Nicki, so he forced her to do what was necessary and help him take Nicki into captivity.
Thando did not know what to do. He wanted to maintain a good relationship with Bra Sol, but his conscience did not allow him to stab his close friend and put his girlfriend in such a predicament. Thando realized that the only way to get out of this mess was to follow Bra Sol’s instructions and decide to go it alone.
Meanwhile, Nicki phoned Cecil and asked him to pick her up. She did not want to take a trip to the United States with her parents. He wanted to stay with Cecil and told her that if he did not come to pick her up, she would injure himself. Thando and Cecil came in a stolen car with Nicki. Thando took them to a hiding place where Bra Sol’s men were already there.
They kidnapped Nicki, and a frustrated Cecil stood there, not knowing what had happened. He found out that Thando had betrayed him, and he couldn’t control himself. He hit Thando, vented his frustration, and told him to call Nicki’s father immediately. Johan knew about the situation, and he hurried home to find Diane, who had organized a party for them at their place. Johan asked Diane to stay home, but she insisted that she go with him.
She found out that Johan had known Bra Sol before and was involved in some illegal activities with the gang. They went with Cecil and tried to find out where their daughter was. They went to a club in Hillbrow, by Bra Sol, but by then, he had run away. They found Thando there, who told them that the robber was planning to kidnap and sell him for money but it could not be stopped if they paid him half a million rand.
A strange revelation was made when Bra Sol, after fleeing his party, met Nicki. She was in a very good position to be a captive. That’s when we found out that Nicki wanted to be kidnapped, and she wanted Bra Sol to give her part of the money so she could go to L.A. with Cecil and start her new life away from her parents. She told himself that she had planned everything but she didn’t know the kind of man she was dealing with.
She had asked for a $ 50,000 ransom, but Sol asked for half a million. She tells him that her family does not have any kind of money, but Bra Sol did not want to listen to her. Thanks to Johan, the gangster had lost much of his life, and he was not yet ready to compromise. Thando decided to help his friend, and then he set up Bra Sol. He told Sol that Johan was ready for the money and asked him to come with Nicki. Given, who had received a phone call from Mr. Diniko, was rushing to rescue Palesa.
On the way, his van collided with Bra Sol’s car. The van overturned, and passengers were seriously injured. Bra Sol, despite being injured, was still alive. Coincidentally, even Johan, along with Diane and Cecil, and Thando, arrived at the same place at the same time. Johan got out of his car to save his daughter, but Bra Sol shot him. Cecil also got out of his car and asked Thando to record everything. Cecil started walking towards Bra Sol, asking her to release his girlfriend. Bra Sol shot him dead. Johan, seizing the opportunity, picked up his rifle. Bra Sol and Johan were shot several times, both of whom died on the spot.
Nicki blamed herself for the death of her father and partner. If she had not rebelled, Cecil and Johan would probably have survived. Thando sat in his car in frustration. He had betrayed his best friend and knew that he had to be held accountable for his actions.
