The entire program was filmed in and around Big Ben. Workers began recording the site while following the strict guidelines of Covid. One of the highlights is the Collins Theater, a live underground music venue on Essex Road under the Waterstones bookstore at 11 Islington Green. The largest exhibition with Elizabethan-style chairs, a historically significant site was once the home of Tommy Cooper and Charlie Chaplin. Code 404.
However, after the money ran out, the theater project did not see the light of day, and the space was not used. The crew discovered this hidden gem while exploring and began recording. An important part of the story comes from the university campus, and although the exterior was recorded at the actual university, the internal sequence was recorded here.
The production team also visited ExCeL London, an open exhibition center located in the Royal Victoria Dock area of Newham, 1 Western Gateway.
