Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 14: Recap
Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 14 saw Dr. Shentu and Sharon witness an accident in front of the hospital when a female driver hit a concrete wall. They rushed him to the hospital and began treatment. In addition, Sharon asked Shentu to re-examine the woman which surprised Taylor a little. Finally, Sharon blamed Shentu and asked Taylor to make a point.
However, Drs. Archer found Sharon’s decision surprising and told Taylor to keep him informed of Shentu’s involvement in the case. Meanwhile, Stevie and Dylan rushed to see a patient who was found lying near Washington Park and had a disease in his arm that needed surgery. Additionally, it was Terrell who surprised Dylan.
Later, Dylan interviewed him and learned that Terrell had dyslexia since childhood. Maggie, on the other hand, joined Will in a medical emergency call to see a patient named Ellis, who had been living in an iron lung since he contracted polio at an early age. Ellis’ condition appeared to be deteriorating, so Will took a blood sample and went to the hospital.
While Maggie kept checking Ellis’ condition. At the hospital, Stevie was surprised to learn that her mother Terri had been in the hospital for days. He dealt with Drs. Charles so also told her that Terri didn’t want her to know she was sick which made Stevie even angrier. Going forward, Dr. Shentu’s patient condition worsened as he followed new procedures.
However, Archer had to stay involved and help strengthen the woman’s status. She finally realized that Shentu’s guidelines needed to be changed and promised to do what Sharon intended to do. Marcel and Pamela, on the other hand, made a special bond with each other and even continued their disagreements. However, Pamela thought it would be better if they always worked with them but Marcel thought differently.
Will was able to get Ellis treatment early and restore her health to normal. In addition, Maggie shared her good news that the biopsy had not been successful and Will expressed her wish for Stevie to stay. While Stevie learns that his mother needs to be alone and prove to herself that she can succeed in this. So Stevie visited Terri and spent time together, supporting her in her accomplishments. At that time, Drs. Charles realized that he too had feelings for Lonnie and told her.
