During the program, Kevin Kreider revealed that he would not be able to represent Kim Lee at first, as he thought she was a “spoilt brat” from Malibu who took DJ-ing in an instant. Besides, their relationship got worse when Kevin argued with Kim Lee over his behavior at Anna Shay’s party. Soon, however, things changed for her as he became a supportive friend and helped her to look after her father, who never left her. So, towards the end of Season 1, fans were thrilled to see a soft moment between Kevin and Kim, which seemed to suggest an emerging relationship.

Interestingly, Kevin’s relationship with Kim Lee improved significantly at the start of season 2, when the latter suddenly kissed Kevin on the cheek after hearing that she had been accepted into the living program at the Wynn Hotel in Vegas. Kevin interpreted the kiss as a communication, and although Kim did not seem to have much intention of starting the relationship, she agreed to go on a date for dinner. Unfortunately, Kim had cold feet all day, and Kevin was devastated to find that she had pushed him away.
Not wanting to give up so easily, however, Kevin expressed his feelings for Kim and expressed that he had been feeling that way for a long time. Moreover, when Kevin took Kim on a short trip and spent some time with her, she seemed confident, and they both decided to give her a cool shotgun. While Kevin took advice from Christine Chiu on how to keep Kim happy, Kane Lim seemed nervous about the growing relationship. However, when Kevin heard that Kane had passed the news on, he became very angry, and things went awry. Kim, on the other hand, was terrified of the conflict as she said on the show that it reminded her of her previous relationship. Nevertheless, Kim and Kevin were able to talk like adults and decided to keep their relationship alive.
Although Kim Lee and Kevin decided to continue dating after the completion of season 2 recordings, they were unable to regain the trust they lost in their relationship. In time, Kim Lee realized that her faith was waning and she confided in her partner. So, in the final attempt to keep their relationship, the two decide to take a false detector test. The polygraph determined that Kevin was truthful with his feelings. However, when Kim checked, she revealed that she did not want to be with Kevin.

She later explained her position and said that although the polygraph test confirmed Kevin’s accuracy, she could not be trusted. So, it seems that Kim and Kevin have chosen to go their own way and have since split up. While on the show these guys expressed that they would never let their friendship die in the dark, which gives us hope that they still get along.
However, as Kevin has been involved in film production and Kim Lee is busy in his living room at the Wynn Hotel, the two seem to be living independent lives. We wish the two of them the best in their future endeavors.
