He puts it on Sam, asking him what he would do if Elsa changed his mind about him. Sam, however, tells her that in that case, she will return it to him.
In the meantime, Sam and Elsa will have to separate for a while. Sam will stay while Elsa heads to Oregon. After a night of Comanche lessons, Elsa is ready to resume the Oregon train route. 1883 Season 1 Episode 9 will see Shea’s fate points to a worse fate. What about Elsa? She is separated from Sam for now. However, the time between their last union and the next reunion will be as they had hoped. 1883 Season 1 Episode 8: Recap
1883 Season 1 Episode 8 opens with Sam and Elsa herding a collection of wild horses. Elsa rides a horse so much that her pants are full of tears. Later, when she started sewing for the family car, Margaret told her some warning words.
He tells Elsa to enjoy her freedom while he still has it. Telling her that as a woman, she would always have to compromise and make her dreams come true no matter where life takes her, Margaret has bitter words of wisdom about Elsa.
However, Elsa does not pay much attention to the words. Meanwhile, Sam finds one of the Native Americans who came to trade for Elsa chap. Elsewhere, Brennan tells the Germans to head for Denver. The actual plan – which includes going to Oregon – will take a lot of time.
Instead, Brennan announces a change in approach. The Germans do not like this idea. And James, announcing his trip to Oregon. He invites anyone who wants to join him on a journey that he believes will end sooner rather than later. The Germans agreed and decided to go along with James.
Thomas reassures Brennan to hold on to the trip to Oregon. So Brennan goes to James and openly asks him to be the leader as the Germans trust him so much. At that moment, Elsa tells Sam that she will stay with him here instead of her and her family going to Oregon. However, Sam tells him that it will be worth the trip and the mountains. Elsa agrees and tells him that she will take him to the mountains at that moment.
This beautiful scene just coincided with the tonal whiplash when Sam saw something. Happily, though, it is not so dangerous. It is a herd of buffalo. Sam helps Elsa kill the buffalo. He then cuts the buffalo out of his heart and gives it to Elsa.
She also picks it up and carries it. Sam brings James his present for the night. A gift for a big horse. Meanwhile, Margaret is not as enthusiastic about the idea of Elsa getting married. You tell him she won’t let you. However, the liberal Elsa did not need her mother’s permission. She tells her mother that she can be independent.
